Mechanic’s Hand Cleaner

on July 5, 2012

Do you have a mechanic or handyman in your family if so this could save you some money!
I’m posting a simple, economical, and very effective formula for mechanic’s hand cleaner.

Mix about a tablespoon of dish soap such as “Dawn”, and a tablespoon of corn meal, or grits”. Add just enough water to make it “useable”. Exact proportions are not crucial. Use this instead of that expensive mechanics hand cleaner you can buy at the store. Store in plastic margarine tub or similar.
